As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software for the control and monitoring of DC/DC converters and battery chargers used in our smart energy and backup system solutions. You will be part of the Integrated Power Solutions department, based in Växjö. You will work closely with engaged and skilled colleagues locally in Växjö, as well as with colleagues located at our offices around the world.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ownership and development/maintenance of the software solution for our new DC/DC converter for renewable energy systems.
• Further development of existing software solutions within the department’s product portfolio.
• Maintaining proper software documentation.
• Specifying and overseeing programming work carried out by colleagues.

Who are you? We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and a few years of experience in hardware-oriented software development or embedded systems, preferably within power electronics. You have a natural drive to create solutions and take pride in making your mark on the product. You are a communicative problem solver, thorough, and systematic.

You enjoy solving problems together with colleagues but are also capable of working independently and finding answers within the organization when needed.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• A university degree or higher education in computer engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a software developer for embedded systems (e.g., C, C++, Assembler, VHDL).
• Experience in programming real-time systems.
