As a global leader, our R&D department is crucial. In short, our hands-on and hand-picked experts improve existing products, develop new solutions, and explore futuristic technologies in highly advanced R&D projects. And in a rapidly changing world, there is a continuous and growing need for new solutions. This is where you come in. We need to boost our team with a software developer and software architect for embedded systems.
Do you have the ideas, energy, knowledge, and drive to help build a more sustainable future? If yes, you have come to the right place. Our purpose is to power a better world, and we seek to fulfill that by helping customers run better, smarter, and greener businesses.
The products we develop manage with very high levels of electrical power, to be kept under tight control. The applications are typically a part of function-critical industrial processes, which our product have to exchange communication with. This is done by embedded software.
As SW developer and SW architect you have excellent knowledge of C programming (other languages are also used at KP but not equally frequently so far), you master the related tools (compilers, debuggers), you understand hardware functions and can perform electrical measurements to verify the functionality of the software. You have very good competence regarding control and regulation methods, as well as good understanding of what it implies to develop products for professional applications. Experience about RTOS is important. You know about architectural paradigms, as system developer, and possess inherent methods to develop and document the system architecture. Most of all, you have plenty of traceable hands-on experience as SW developer and a lot of passion for designing, writing and documenting code.
