The products we deliver manage high power flows (either it is about thousands of A, or about hundreds of thousands of V, whatever the case, not the most common power supply device one can think of) and there is no useful power without intelligence. The software governs the intimate operation of our products, provides connectivity with surrounding infrastructure, including control, monitoring and diagnostics.  

In a typical application, the embedded SW resides in a CPU, may execute atop an OS, or RTOS, or as stand-alone application, drives the operation of the switching electronics, manages with various input/output channels, supports user interfaces for direct access to the key functions of the product. 

The team work according to constantly improving sound methodology, making the SW base more and more consistent, testable, reliable. 

As a candidate, you have excellent experience of programming in C (other languages are a plus), you have a very good understanding of SW architecture, a good understanding of methods to test and verify the software also by means of hardware level measurements, value requirement-driven development as well as proper documentation.
